42" - More than adequate apparently!

waitrosetrollydolly · 01/11/2020 16:34

55 - was a compromise DH wanted 65!!

chunkyrun · 01/11/2020 16:35

55 my eyesight is Appalling

gamerchick · 01/11/2020 16:37

I don't think I'd go bigger but I do want an OLED. Those telly's are the dogs bollocks.

MuchTooTired · 01/11/2020 16:43

Also 55”

wirldsgonemad · 01/11/2020 16:44

55" here, it feels a bit big for the room.

Witchend · 01/11/2020 16:45

0"

No Tv. Never had one.
We waste time on other electronics instead. However find the TV is a really good distraction for visiting children who haven't been before. They end up crawling everywhere as they can't believe we really don't have one. Grin

PragmaticWench · 01/11/2020 16:45

65". I really HATE it. DH is very happy.

MidnightHangingTree · 01/11/2020 16:46

49". We had a 32" in the lounge when we moved in but it looked tiny, this one is a much better fit for the room.

Elieza · 01/11/2020 16:58

32”. Small room! Don’t need bigger.

Sheknowsaboutme · 01/11/2020 17:02
  1. My feature is my fireplace not the TV
Sighing000 · 01/11/2020 17:03
  1. And it's currently not working with a light up ghost hanging in front of it.
MissEyelesbarrow · 01/11/2020 17:07

32 but couldn't find smaller. I'm not a big tv person.

thesoundofthepolice · 01/11/2020 17:17
  1. DH wanted 65 but it was ridiculous and our lounge is a good size. We compromises with a better quality 55in which still looks massive
TheGoatIsHere · 01/11/2020 17:18

55 inch OLED - love it

lljkk · 01/11/2020 17:21

I think it's 30"... I would like 42" but DH insists no. My dad has one about 65" and thinks ours is tiny.

safariboot · 01/11/2020 17:31

We had a 27 incher but it broke.

Sgtmajormummy · 01/11/2020 17:33

A four-year-old Philips 42” inherited from DS. And very nice it is, too.

I had Chrome Cast on our old tv and thought that was great. I used it to stream films and YouTube music. My stereo and CD/DVD collections have been gathering dust for years.
This one has lots of apps built in so in the few hours I do watch television I’m still discovering all the things it can do.

Why scorn a useful piece of equipment?

WildOrchids67 · 01/11/2020 17:33

40" in living room and I have a 32" in my bedroom.

cg88 · 01/11/2020 17:34

85, because dh is a tit 🙄 and yes it looks ridiculous!

transformandriseup · 01/11/2020 17:44

40 inch in a fairly small living room.

LST · 01/11/2020 17:44

We have a 65 in our main room. I love it.

SecretNutellaFix · 01/11/2020 17:48

42"

He wants a 48", the one we have is more than big enough as any wider and my arse would knock it off the stand going through the living room door, especially if I've got anything in my arms.

UnitedRoad · 01/11/2020 18:05

Not sure if it’s 40 or 42”.

TheOrigRights · 01/11/2020 18:21

I don't know.
We only just got rid of our CRT one!
