Hi all, I'm really struggling about what to buy DS1 for Xmas. He has autism and is pre-verbal at 7, he enjoys sensory stuff etc but really drawing a blank. Please help!

Is there any particular tv show he likes or characters? Could he point if you show him some Amazon or Argos pages? My son has asd and is eight. He literally only likes reading, pixar and minecraft. He collects the pixar cars but doesn't do anything with them anymore, just keeps and files the packaging.he'll only read pixar and minecraft books aswell. He wants a desk and rug Confused Ive got him four books, a bedding set and a hoody.

What about a stretch Armstrong / equivalent? Both mine love the sensory feedback of just sitting stretching him whilst doing something else.

It depends which sensations he favours. I know some autistic kids who love their tall bubble lamp with little plastic fish floating around inside, and others who would like kinetic sand or a ton of cornflour for making oobleck.
