Hi there,
Is there anyone working on Bank as a HCA with NHS?
I have been offered an interview for the above position....and although I know I may not be offered the job im a little worried about a few things.
I understand there is a 2 week induction programme, I currently have a full time job but I know my employer won't support me to have this amount of time off at short notice and I have no annual leave left to take. So this leaves me in the position to finish my job and work solely on the bank - but is there enough hours to do this? Id be looking at needing 30hrs a week?
Also I've read a lot about people feeling they feel like they are being a burden and not treated very fairly by nurses and other permanent HCAs - is this true from anyones experience?
I currently work as a supervisor in community care and love my job and ive done very well within the company...but I cant go much further with my career - hence why I am looking at moving into the NHS with the plan to study nursing once my little ones are in school.
Any help, tips and advice would be greatly welcomed.
Xx
