Can I use a wireless keyboard with an iPad?

I think you can but how do they work as there's no usb port in the iPad.
Do you get something that fits into the charging port?
Ideally I'd like to get a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Yes. You just have to pair it.

Yes you can, just make sure the keyboard doesn’t need a Bluetooth dongle. I have a 7th gen iPad and a wireless keyboard that works with it.

I bought a bluetooth one from amazon. Wasn't an Apple one, but it works just fine.

Ds has a logitech one. Paired via bluetooth.

Mine is the 6th generation iPad and does have Bluetooth. I'm not sure if I need a dongle?

You dont want a dongle. A normal bluetooth keyboard should work fine.
