What does BiscuitBiscuitBiscuit actually mean?

I see it here and assume it's something like 'ffs' or an eye roll. But maybe that just my opinion on whatever the post is about.

It’s a biscuit emoji I think. Could be wrong though lol

LoseLooseLucy · 31/10/2020 13:41

It is a biscuit. It is used on here as a “that’s shit/rubbish” kind of thing. I hate it.

NameChange84 · 31/10/2020 13:41

ermmmm

The biscuit emoji?

It means “you take the biscuit”.

Lipz · 31/10/2020 13:42

Isn't that a biscuit? As in here, calm down and have a biscuit. Although when I joined I thought it was a doughnut and I thought people were calling others a doughnut 😂

LoseLooseLucy · 31/10/2020 13:42

It stems from a web chat with Gordon Brown not answering what his favourite biscuit was, or something.

fitzbilly · 31/10/2020 13:46

It's a biscuit.

It was added to the Mumsnet emojis after the infamous guest who refused to answer the question about their favourite biscuit. That was a long time ago though.

It's offered to people spouting rubbish or possible trolling.

Yes that's it!
AuntieStella · 31/10/2020 13:49

'Calm down; here have a biscuit'

CoconutQueen · 31/10/2020 13:50

It means calm down; here is a biscuit LOL

RishiMcRichface · 31/10/2020 13:50

It's a jammy dodger

SavoyCabbage · 31/10/2020 13:51

It means 'I have nothing to say'.

So IABU to park in the disabled space as I'll only be five minutes
Biscuit

ShowOfHands · 31/10/2020 13:52

It originally meant no comment but it's evolved to mean many things in different contexts.

AdaColeman · 31/10/2020 13:59

It's a biscuit.

It represents "No Comment".

It's part of the history of Mumsnet, and recalls Gordon Brown's web chat here, when he wasn't clever enough to know the name of any type of biscuit.

Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit

A jammy dodger! I see it now! Grin I was thinking empire biscuit but that's not quite right
