DO NOT recommend haunted mansion unless u skip the 1st bit. DM put it on for DS6 who then asked why the man was floating.... full view of the bloke having hung himself...that was fun to dodge... i was not very happy!!!

Disney+ has a Halloween section with lots of films and shows in it. We're watching the monster babysitting one on Netflix tomorrow. 11year old Dd found Hubie Halloween hilarious suitable from 10+. She's also enjoyed watching Hocus Pocus, again starts with a hanging scene at the beginning and Addams Family. Goosebumps ones are also favourites.

Hotchocolatesforeveryone · 30/10/2020 23:06

If you go on Disney plus and hit search it shows you a "halloween collection" hocus pocus, Edward scissor hands etc is on it.

Hotel transylvania, goosebumps, the addams family and a few others is on Netflix.

The remake of The Witches is available on Prime. It was only released (straight to download) a few days ago, so it’s £16. I’ve only seen one review, it said that The Grand High Witch is very scary though.

Just to be aware, Hocus Pocus mentions the word virgin numerous times throughout, it's part of the plot that only a virgin can do x, so is emphasised a bit...my 7yo asked during the film what it meant
