Has anyone has LLETZ twice? Does it affect fertility?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but looking for some advice and maybe even some reassurance.

I had an abnormal smear and LLETZ about 10 years ago. I am unsure what level of CIN it was. I now live in another country but have requested my medical records.

I had normal smears since but recently had an abnormal smear and biopsy showing CIN2 and another LLETZ treatment required.

I feel worried sick as I know only 10% of people require LLETZ twice and it means it can make pre-term labour or miscarriages more likely. I don’t have children yet but I want to.

Has anyone had LLETZ twice? Did you then have a successful pregnant and birth?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply Sad

I had two as I had CIN3 both times - one was before I had my son and the other in-between having him and my daughter.

Both were fine - they do tend to keep a closer eye on you but both were born at full term and with no problems.

Hope that helps x
