You can have six people 3 x male 3 x female. Dead, living, a character whatever.

I can't get my head around mixing real people and characters, so I'm going for real people. I'd find it impossible to choose between fictional characters anyway!

Real people dinner party: JK Rowling, Diana Wynne-Jones, Maggie Smith, Nathan Fillion, Terry Pratchett, Hugh Laurie
Food: masses of mezze

I went for entertaining chat rather than historical fascination!

Honestly as much as it would be lovely to spend time with those I admire, really i’d give anything to be able to eat a meal with all of my grandparents, my mother and lastly my uncle. None of them ever met my children and I’d love to tell them all about them, ask them questions I never thought to ask as a child.

As for food I suppose a big Christmas dinner as that’s the last time I sat round the table with all of them together.
