I am wondering how shops are managing this?

I am 30 but only look 25ish and before the pandemic was often asked or ID. I haven't been asked for months.
How are shops deciding who to ID when everyone is wearing a mask?

Ooh I hope I get asked. I'm 5ft 1 and quite a baby face despite being 47.

Must go to supermarket for booze to test the theory. Might borrow my teenager's hoody...

Yes. Twice and I'm 46. The first time was in Sainsburys and the woman on the till said she'd forgotten her glasses then asked my age, I was at the end of the checkout so moved closer to her and she was like oh yeah you're fine. The second on the self checkout in Morrisons wanted me to remove my mask which I felt was wrong as we're supposed to be wearing them so refused. I did point out my age then went to get my driving license at which point she approved it.
I certainly don't look under 25 around the eyes! Maybe 38/39 on a good day but no younger!

Yes every time. I'm 25 but look 17. They get me to pull my mask down and then back on again and we carry on.

My son and his GF aged 19/20 get asked - her more than him .

I always ask people to pull their mask down ...I serve a couple who until the full beard underneath is exposed have eyes that look really young...gets a bit embarrassing sometimes Grin

But yes where I work jts on the sign that they may be asked to remove their mask for ID purposes.

They don't always pull it back up though Hmm

My 18 year old has never been ID'd and I think she looks about 12 so no idea why she doesn't get asked

God no. Around my eyes are my wrinkliest bit so sadly not!
Probably aged about six years just during lockdown too.
