We were friends, and I leant over to give him a kiss on the cheek to say hi, but missed and kissed his neck. He smelt gorgeous, and all of a sudden I felt my cheeks aflame. Friendship effectively over!

Ah then what happened!? Mine was when we went for a walk and we'd be dating for a couple of months- we both felt something shift that day and both said we loved each other that day- been together 10 years now 🥰

Met dh as a stranger.
Knew within a week we would marry..
Been together 8 years. Married 5.

We went for an official date a few weeks later and moved in with each other a month after that. It's been 8 months and I have to say dating a man who knows your flaws and loves you anyway is a revolution.

I knew from the start that he was absolutely my type physically ( that’s not the best way of describing it - I just sort of knew I wouldn’t get fed up with looking at those eyes). It was never ever about being friends/mates/platonic. We were straight to romance. Thirteen years and two children later I was right to trust my instincts.
