....break into someone's house to cause them a minor inconvenience?

Mine would be to turn all the batteries upside down in the remote controls so that they looked okay but wouldn't work.

I would also rearrange the cutlery drawer so that nothing was in the right place (dh is always mixing ours up, and this drives me bonkers!)

What would you do

Hide the kettle

fairydustandpixies · 29/10/2020 20:40

Steal the toilet rolls and switch sugar for salt and vice versa 🤗

NotyouGuillermo · 29/10/2020 20:43

Move everything a few inches to the left (or right). Just enough so that they know somethings off and maybe bump into some things sharp corners.

MrsExpo · 29/10/2020 20:56

Remove some of the lightbulbs.
Swap things round in their kitchen cupboards.
Hide the soap/toothpaste in their bathroom.
Swap contents of drawers .... his pants in her knicker drawer.
Re-arrange the contents of the freezer.
Swap pictures/artwork on walls.

The possibilities are endless ...... Grin

pinkunicorn20 · 29/10/2020 21:01

haha I love all of these so far!

Hide exh's surgical boots..
And the remote control.
And his phone.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 29/10/2020 21:06

If they've got any bottles of shampoo or shower gel turned upside down to get the dregs out - turn them back the right way up.
If the lightbulbs are screw in then loosen them so they don't turn on.
Put googly eyes on any pictures or sculptures around.

ILovemyCatsSoSoMuch · 29/10/2020 21:09

Turn the loo roll the wrong way round

DaphneFanshaw · 29/10/2020 21:13

Arrange their spice jars so that they form swear words.
Swop their CDs and DVD’s (If they’re old enough to have them) around.
Empty wine and other booze bottles and replace said booze with vinegar.

FawnDrench · 29/10/2020 21:14

Put the clocks to the wrong time -all different.
Change cushions / throws around in rooms.
Turn some tins in the cupboards upside down.

CourageCamille · 29/10/2020 21:18

Replace any family photos in frames with 'D list' celebrity pictures

mamaduckbone · 29/10/2020 21:28

Switch all the herbs and spices into different jars so everything would taste funny.

Shizzlestix · 29/10/2020 22:26

Cut the plug off the Tv and unplug all the cables at the back. I know this would inconvenience me greatly so I’d do that. I’d also flick all their fuses up so no electrics would work.

Shizzlestix · 29/10/2020 22:27

Ooh, I might also change the timings on their heating/hot water so it comes on in the middle of the night. Nasty!

BeautifulandWilfulandDead · 29/10/2020 22:53

Put something squishy into the bottom of all slippers and socks. Swap out all the tea and coffee for decaffeinated. Take a bite out of every piece of fruit.

LadyCatStark · 29/10/2020 22:57

Switch the volume on their TV, radio etc to an odd number (although I’m aware that might not inconvenience normal people 😂)

pinkunicorn20 · 30/10/2020 00:01

Leave a tap dripping in the bathroom, not enough so its obvious but where it would be irritating while you're trying to fall asleep!

Googly eyes is my favourite so far.

We don't have DVDs anymore, but if anyone had moved them around, I would not have been responsible for my actions.

Hide one of every shoe.
Randomly hide alarm clocks set to different times around the house. Preferably 5 minutes apart (there is a family legend of my Grandad setting all the wind up alarm clocks ready to go in a department store when my Dad was a child, and then him telling my dad to walk, fast. I always wanted to do it myself after hearing it)

Jasmin82 · 30/10/2020 01:25

Put the door keys in the fridge. It's one that might be discovered before the door keys are needed, but it's going to puzzle them as to how the keys ended up there!

pinkunicorn20 · 30/10/2020 09:16

Hide the tin opener or corkscrew

OP posts:
iklboogeymum · 30/10/2020 09:30

Steal all the left shoes.

AlCalavicci · 30/10/2020 09:41

Steal all the laces out of shoes.

Unplug things that are a bugger to move like the washer.

Take a jigsaw and do half of it but take one piece , so it not only confuses them as to where its come from but they can not finish it.

Change all clocks by 10 mins , it will take them ages to notice.

Fill the vac with somthing really smell so when its turned on it stinks.

Hide all the cloths pegs in odd places.

Take night light type candles out of the foil cases ( DM did this one by mistake and declared the candles useless Grin )

Love the googly eyes idea

pinkunicorn20 · 30/10/2020 20:18

Any more this? this has kept me entertained on my 2nd day of self isolation ☹ thanks everyone 🙂

Short sheet all of the beds - we did it to a friend on holiday once and it was funny watching him try to work out why he couldn’t get under the covers

AlCalavicci · 31/10/2020 01:15

Turn all the clothes inside out

Button all the shirt to each other

Drink all the milk but put the empty bottle back in the fridge

Cover the sensor on the pc mouse
