Help! Wellies or Snow boots?!

Hi,

I need to get some new wellies for myself and my oldest DD (9) and have also come across snow boots, which she has asked me for before!

I'm now completely confused as to which would be best! We both get cold feet, so that insulated snow boots would tick a box for that, but are they good in the rain, puddles and mud?

Or do I stick to the tried and tested wellies with thick socks?!

Thanks!

Snow boots are usually rubbish in puddles. Got my daughter some really good waterproof insulated boots from Decathlon last year which were a reasonable price.

arh ok - I was confused as they said they are water resistant lol and look so cosy!

I got DS1 waterproof snowboots in JD Sports before - plastic on the outside.
I've not seen them for adults though.

Lined wellies are also a good compromise if you aren't planning on going skiing/live in rural Scotland etc.
