Boring I know, but point me in the direction of soft, cushiony but non-feather pillows please

Our pillows are a mismatch of random pillows, some from IKEA, some providence unknown. I have just woken up and would liken them to sleeping on hard sponginess - something that gives the impression of softness but may be hiding a core of concrete. Back and neckache not uncommon.

Please tell me you have the perfect pillowy, hotel-style, non-feather yet remarkably bargainous pillows to recommend. Please.

I am a side-sleeper, DH is mainly a back-sleeper - though for the magnificent pillows you are about to suggest this will surely be of no importance Wink

I want to know too!

I got some silent night bounce back pillows free when I bought a mattress and they are remarkably buoyant a year later.
Not as big as hotel pillows but not flat pancakes after a month.

They're £22 for 4 in Argos.

Soak&Sleep do good pillows - I bought mine after using them in a lovely holiday cottage! I think the ones I have are called something like Luxury Soft as Down pillows, but definitely synthetic.
