I moved in with my DP of a year after we had our son. Everything happened so fast, we had actually ended things just before I found out. I moved in with him when son arrived and he’s now four months. Partner is hands on and supports us but I miss home and for some reason son is harder now than he was as a newborn?! Is this normal? I feel like me and my partner have no relationship really as we just started together for our son. It’s a weird feeling and I’m wondering if things with son will get easier maybe at 6 months or 8 months etc and then we can focus on our relationship? Feeling stressed and confused. When I’ve talked to my partner he is just keen for us to stay living with him as he would be embarrassed to have a child living so far away (I’m from London he’s from Lake District). I don’t know what I’m asking really...will our son get easier to cope with and allow for more time for us? At the moment I’m just knackered.
