Favourite jacket potato topping...

Inspired by my lunch today.
Mine is either classic cheese and beans or Tuna mayo and sweet corn.

Cheese, beans and coleslaw
Tuna mayo with red onions and fresh chillies
Butter and then some philadelphia with crispy bacon
Chicken curry
Chilli con carne and cheese

So underrated if you ask me!

Greek salad

Spring onion, bacon and a little mayo (mixed with filling and returned to skin)

Bologense or chilli

Beans and cheese and a blob of coleslaw

Coronation chicken, or butter, cheese and bacon mixed with potato and rebaked.

Prawn or tuna

. It has to be a Maris piper potato and the skin has to be crispy. This is making me want a baked potato for dinner

Chilli with red leicester cheese on top

In order of preference
Chilli,
Beans,
Tuna, mayo, sweetcorn and red onion.
Never any butter or cheese.

Prawn cocktail (with a little Philadelphia in first).

No butter in a jacky p?????
Mine has to have a knob of butter and salt and pepper before the topping goes on..

And obviously..
It has to be a properly baked potato.. None of this microwave business.

Tuna and mayo. No sweetcorn. With a knob of butter.
I really want a jacket potato now.

Never had chilli on a jacket but it sounds divine. I remember they sell it in Costco.. I never had it though. I might try that next.

Lots of butter and full fat cottage cheese and sweetcorn or cheese and bacon

Scoop out filling and mix with cheese, onion, paprika. Bake. Serve with beans and colslaw and a side salad.

No butter

Either cheese then coleslaw then more cheese or cheese then chilli con carne and then more cheese.

Either way if there's no cheese, I'm not interested!

Normally at this time of year my DO would travel to visit his family for a month or so and I would have four blissful weeks of eating baked potatoes for dinner about every other evening. Damn Covid.

The more cheese the better in fact.

Tuna, Mayo & Spring onion, loads of cheese and put it under the grill.
Or
Chilli & cheese.

ooo Chilli is good in a baked potato. With cheese on top too. Mmmmmm

Any of the supermarket bought sandwich fillings, saves me hours 😊

Vegan here so it's either chickpea of the sea 'mayo' or tofu eggless mayo.

Hummus is good on a baked potato as well.

Beans and cheese. Even though I'm lactose intolerant

Tuna mayo and cheese.
