So we are due to get married in April (in Scotland, where we live).
At the moment, the absolute best case scenario is Tier 0 which would be 50 guests however no news yet on if the "party" aspect would be permitted and presumably masks will be required so on that basis, I'm not keen on proceeding I don't think.
It's just a modest wedding, less that £6k all in, no sit down meal and all quite casual but the original, pre covid guest list was 140 people.
I don't know what to do. We could, possible postpone but 1. Who knows how long this will go on for 2. The rest of 2021 and 2022 is almost fully booked at the venue and then there is the supplier availability to consider and 3. DP is in the military so trying to pin down a date when he will be home is virtually impossible.
The honeymoon is booked, so we cobsidered, if the honeymoon can go ahead then he would just get married there, the two of us however future MIL cried when we told her that idea.
Then we thought about having a small, 15ish ceremony abroad however my family wouldn't be able to attend for financial reasons.
I just do not know what to do so looking for ideas or alternative suggestions we might not have considered!
