Just started watching the first episode.

Very different to the rest of the series as POTUS hasn't made an appearance in it yet.

And it doesn't have the famous opening titles.

I tried watching it but the ads were annoying me, I'm sticking with the DVDs (I have the complete box set and starting rewatching a few weeks ago, up to season 4 now!)

Channel 4 has the best hub. They're doing Schitt's Creek atm. Means I can have subtitles which I can't get on Netflix. (Anyone know why?)

The series was only made available on All4 last week. Yes, the ads are irritating but do tend to dwindle once you get into episode 11! I love it and it is one of my favourites - I remember feeling gutted when I got to the very last series the first time around and realised that Jed wasn't actually allowed to have another term and the team would be disbanded, no way!!
A brilliant moment when Charlie (his new black aide) asked if he could take POTUS' daughter on a date and Jed shouted 'No!'. He then looked him in the eye and said 'It's not because you're black' and Charlie nodded in agreement and said 'It's because I'm a man'.
What a great script.
