Can you help me guess a name?

This is all very silly but I’m trying to guess a males name without any luck.

It’s supposedly an ‘English common name’ and it can be spelt two ways. One way with a W in it. I thought it must be Shaun / Sean / Shawn but was wrong.

Any suggestions?!

I can only think of Dwayne / Duane which I don't think is common really.
