What are your funnest / most enjoyable memories?

Anything that has been really amazing, can be big or small.

Feel like I have had a very boring few years and need some inspiration for some fun things to do

Releasing baby turtles in Mexico.

Whale watching in Mexico.

Visiting Frida Kahlo’s house.

Going for outdoor swims in a local lake - it saved my summer.

Playing ping-pong with DH throughout lockdown. It got very competitive.

Dancing in a glass lift with grown-up DS2 on my wedding day a year last May.

Practically RUNNING up Glyder Fach in a spontaneous moment a couple of month ago to try and catch the sunset, watching the sun go down over Tryfan and then trying to climb down in the dark scared stiff but in awe at the magnitude of the stars over the welsh mountain dark spots.

My partner is absolutely crackers - we both are, and memories like this are plentiful. I love him to bits, he’s made me come out of my shell and see what life really is about.

Oooh also - spontaneously packing a suitcase and the kids in to the car and driving 400 miles to the Scottish highlands one Saturday afternoon in hope to see the northern lights. We booked a place on the way, had not idea where we were going, and we needed to be back the next day in time for the kids school Monday.

We did a round trip of Scotland in 36 hours, quick pit stop of Loch Ness, Ben Nevis and drive through Glen Coe - saw wild deer and highland cows. The whole time it was throwing it down, so no northern lights but the kids still talk about it all the time.

We got back at midnight the next day...

Snogging a gorgeous famous photographer in business class flight to Hong Kong whilst using my abusive boyfriends staff travel

Snorkelling with DP in Thailand last year was sooo beautiful

Me & dd having a drunken fun fight on the subway to Brooklyn at 1am

Disney Florida with all the dcs - this will always be one of my most treasured

It was at the very end of the day, we’d had a tiny wedding of just five of us including me and DH, and we were going up to our rooms when I said,
‘We never had a first dance!’
So DS2 said, ‘Come on then,’ and we waltzed around to the song playing in the lift.

Beautiful memory.
