My husband and I are looking to move from our small home to somewhere bigger so our family can grow. I'm over cautious about money! What are peoples average total bills a month? After all expenses have gone out what are people left with? Thanks in advance

4 bed detached house (soon to be 5) with 4 kids (all girls so lots of showering) my leccy and gas is about £100 a month in summer and about £160 in winter months. I’m not on a water meter due to baby only being 1, so pay £36 a month water. I moved from a 2/3 bed into this property and bills are roughly the same, apart from my council tax is £120 a month due to size of property. I’m assuming you pay sky, internet council tax in your house now so that wouldn’t change. Grin
