Wheres the best place to buy craft supplies for an 8 year old?

You could try hobby craft or Baker Ross.

baker ross are good. normally quick delivery and have offers on!

The works or hobbycraft if you need more specialist stuff.

Wilko-cheap and cheerful for kids.

The Works is very reasonable and our local B&M has some good crafty stuff.

The Range is brilliant for craft stuff. Hobbycraft is really expensive.

What sort of stuff are you after?

A lot of stuff you don't really need to buy as such. I always kept a supply of old magazines, greeting cards etc which could be cut up and re-used. Keep some of the recycling back for junk modelling - cereal packets, yoghurt pots, loo rolls etc.
Keep bits of ribbon etc from presents, bits of Christmas crackers etc.
