I'm 5'6" and weigh 10 stone 3. I've dropped a stone and a half over lockdown. I know it's in the healthy region now but I know I'd feel and look better at 9'9". How much fo you weigh if you're this height and how do you feel about it pls?

Sorry, 9st 7lb at my highest (excluding pregnancy)

cariadlet · 26/10/2020 21:01

I'm 5ft 6.I was 10st 5lb but started exercising more and watching what I eat over the summer. I'm now 9st and fairly toned. I've got a bit of a belly that I'm struggling to get rid but am otherwise happy with my weight and size.

borntohula · 26/10/2020 21:03

Somewhere between 9st 3 and 9st 7 depending on the time of day. 🙄

CorporeSarnie · 26/10/2020 21:03

10 st 8 lb, having been about 12st before lockdown. I felt fat there but mainly unfit. I'd like to get to 10st 5lb and see how I feel there. Was 9.5 after first baby and was a bit thin for me, but after miscarriage, difficult second pregnancy, family trauma and illness, bereavement, difficult times at work and moving house in the last six years I'm just happy that I'm healthier now and in a good ish place.

thebabewiththepower · 26/10/2020 21:06

10stone. Was always 9.5stone until I hit 40. Size 12 bottom, ten top. Definitely more wobbly around the middle nowadays.

wendz86 · 26/10/2020 21:37

10 stone 10, would like to get back below 10 stone but just seem to have one thing after another driving me to eat at the moment. Don't feel massive but would like to lose a stone.

hstredhead · 26/10/2020 21:44

9st 7lbs (62kg) and between a dress size 8/10, aged 29.
I used to be around 55kg/8st 7lb for years but in the last few years since I turned 25 I've slowly crept up.
No desire to get back down though as I was too slim for my frame, I think.

Shannith · 26/10/2020 21:44

8 stone 11, size 10

Yorkshirelass04 · 26/10/2020 21:45

I don't understand this. I'm 5'7.5" and weigh 10st 13lbs. I have quite a flat stomach and wear a size 10. Ok a large size 10.

But according to people on here who are shorter than me, I'm a 12/14?

I do run and do CrossFit so maybe it's muscle (some of it)?

marriednotdead · 26/10/2020 21:47

A fraction under 10 stone. Put on around half a stone at the beginning of lockdown and it won't shift yet, must try harder!
Happiest between 9st 4-7 and that's when my clothes fit best.

hennipenni · 26/10/2020 21:50

9st. Size 10. Feel very fit and healthy, like my new body shape. Lost nearly 2 stone since March this year.

babyguffingtonstrikesagain · 26/10/2020 21:51

11st right now which is the heaviest I've ever been (with the exception of pregnancies).

ShivD · 26/10/2020 21:51

Just under 10 stone (currently 60.5kg) where I’ve hovered for the last 20 years apart from pregnancy.

I’ve actually been in much better shape when heavier as I’ve been exercising more.

Usually a 10 depending on the shop, I’ve got muscular (chunky!) legs which is where all the weight comes from as my boobs are tiny and I don’t carry weight around my middle.

Happyspud · 26/10/2020 21:51

8.5st. I'm slim but not overly skinny. I recently became mentally unwell for a few months and one symptom was a complete inability to eat for about 3 of those weeks. I dropped weight fast and it was frightening how quickly I did look scrawny. So I think I'm on the healthy side of it (I got back to normal fast once I felt a little better) but it did give me a fright how little back up weight I had.

Other than that new experience, I am happy with my body and weight. I have always eaten whatever I want whenever I want. I love food and it's been a hobby my whole adult life. I'm just very lucky that I genetically don't carry weight easily.

ShivD · 26/10/2020 21:52

@Yorkshirelass04 I think build and muscle mass must play a role. Do you have quite muscular legs?

jelly79 · 26/10/2020 21:54

9 stone 10. Feel better at 9 stone 5.

Used to be 12 stone pre pregnancy. I have a DS3

EmmaC78 · 26/10/2020 21:58

I am 10 stone 7, would like to get down to 10 stone but can't seem to stop eating too much.

ASimpleLobsterHat · 26/10/2020 21:59

I don’t weigh myself all that often but I’m usually around 8 and a half stone and consistently a size 8. I’m happy with that - I don’t work too hard at it so I think it’s my natural weight, although my tummy and thighs could do with a bit of toning.

WoooooGhoulsDoAFlit · 26/10/2020 22:09

Currently 10st 11lb and wear a size 12. Very unhappy with my weight and body - I come from a family of skinnies, and my two sisters, who are the same height as me, both weigh around 8st 7lb. I look absolutely colossal next to them. I need to accept that, at age 46, I simply can't expect to stuff my gob with whatever I fancy and still stay slim, like I did in my 20's and 30's. Zero willpower though sadly.

ignatiusjreilly · 26/10/2020 22:11

9st 5 currently, but usually under 9st. I started snacking in the evenings during lockdown which I'd never normally do... I put on 10 lbs! I'm slowly losing the extra weight now thanks to the 16:8 diet.

WoooooGhoulsDoAFlit · 26/10/2020 22:11

Should add that, before lockdown, I did a ton of exercise, including pole fitness, which kept my weight down. However, I've lost all my enthusiasm for exercise, whilst still eating as much as ever, so it's unsurprising that I've piled it on, (I was 9st 9lb in January).

Ciunasbotharcailinbainne · 26/10/2020 22:45

I’m 5’5, 29, no kids, exercise relatively frequently (gym classes and cycling/walking to town). Last time I weighed myself over the summer I was 65kg or just over 10 stone and had piled on some lockdown kilos! I felt a bit bigger with weight on my tummy and hips though all my clothes still fit, just not as nicely as I’d like! I’m usually a 8/10 on top and a 10 on bottom depending on the shop. I’d like to get to 60kg in time for Christmas but my gym removed their scales... I was 57kg when I was 23/24.

RedIsWhereItsAt · 26/10/2020 22:59

78 kg which is about 172 lbs or 12 stone 4 lbs I think.

I’m deeply unhappy about it, along with many other aspects of my life like work, study, friendships, love life, housing, everything really.

Bwlch · 26/10/2020 23:00

8st 4ish Small frame, good muscle tone, size 6. I'm not skinny.

I'm happy with the way I look and feel.

DougRossIsTheBoss · 26/10/2020 23:03

9st 8lb size 10-12 in my 40s

Workout 2-3 times a week with weights and am generally active. Could probably do more cardio but it bores me

I am fairly happy with the way I look
Stomach is flat, upper body looks quite good but I will always have fat thighs and cellulite I think and I have stopped bothering about it. I just dress to disguise it.

I suspect I could look better at around 9stone (lowest weight ever) but I can't be arsed to put the extra effort in to make that.

Highest non pregnant weight about 10 stone. I will take action if getting anywhere near that as that's when my clothes stop fitting.
