Anyone able to recommend anywhere to go and just shoot clays with a decent instructor and not get charged an arm and a leg? Food and drink not required - just want to learn how to do it properly without being stung for mega bucks! I really enjoy it but find that it's over within the blink of an eye and costs me a fortune! I would really like to practice and develop my skills.

I just asked the other half and he recommends Dan McDonnell at Lea Valley, near Herts - 01992 552011
Have fun 😃

Brazen pigeons are safe then?

SirCloudesley · 26/10/2020 19:45

Haha ProfYaffle typo
@BoneyEm1972 thank you - is that specific guy good at teaching ? Or anyone at that place? Thanks for asking the DH!
If anyone can recommend somewhere in West Herts that would be perfect but I am able to travel.

He reckons Dan is very good or Tim. There is the A1 shooting ground at Borehamwood but he doesn’t know how good they are. Made him feel all-knowing now Grin

There’s one at back of field of chase farm hospital Enfield.
If you google clay pigeon Enfield it comes up

Thank you both.
Is there anyone who shoots regularly who can give advice ? Perhaps I should start a separate thread for that
