Inspired by the regrets thread!

It sounds trivial, but I'm so happy I clicked an invite link that ultimately showed me into one of the best groups of people I've known. We're all great friends and always there for each other.

Said to the guy I'd been speaking to online for 6 months, it's time we meet. 17 years later we are married with 2 beautiful children.

Called the police about Dh. now ex Dh. We are safe, comfortable and happier than we ever could have been with him in our lives.

Went to the doctor as soon as I found “a lump”. I’m so so glad I didn’t just ignore it.

VetOnCall · 26/10/2020 21:30

Moved to Canada.

Leaving my stressful job though I enjoyed it which impacted on my family life- one weekend off a month and lots of late night and early mornings. Was chronically exhausted. Now I work for the family business and my life is so much better

Went back to college to retrain at 27. Went back again for masters at 36. Working at a job now that I love and is well paid and secure.

Going to rehab. I've been sober for 31 years now. Did an AMA about it. Best thing in a million miles. My adult DC have never known me as a drunk.

Oh, so many! I looked after myself mainly fairly well as a child/adolescent. Had nothing, but made great decisions that led me to uni and further ed. Although I married a bully but I got myself out of it. I met a great guy, we've chosen a lovely home. I consider myself to be very lucky and fortunate.

Took the less attractive job because the screening process for the attractive one was taking so long. On my first day in the new ‘unattractive’ job I was shown around by a man I really didn’t think much of.... this year we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary.

WinWinnieTheWay · 26/10/2020 21:39

I think that none must be in the future and that gives me hope.

WinWinnieTheWay · 26/10/2020 21:40

Mine not none

Happyface120 · 26/10/2020 21:43

Continued my pregnancy. She is 10 tomorrow and an absolute joy. I was single and skint but I knew we would be OK. Now married with another DC, it she was the start of it all.

funtimefrank · 26/10/2020 21:43

I put 2 embryos back :)

Last round of ivf, dh said my decision on what to do. I said may as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb and I got my 2 lovely girls who are the best thing in my world ever.
