Dremel multi tool

I have irrationally wanted one of these for years because I think it would be ‘handy’. I don’t need one for my hobbies so please tell me what you use yours for. Black Friday is approaching and I could do with being talked out of something I won’t use!

So far I have used mine outdoors where I’ve no power; I have used it to predrill holes to screw into I have cut wood and metal with the discs. I haven’t had it long and I am sure I’ll find more use for it when doing diy. It is a lovely tool and I originally bought it to cut some old fixed skirting to shape.

ariana1 Thank you. Would it cut thin hardboard circles. Could you use it for writing on wood? Trying to think of why I need to buy one! I am assuming from what you say it might do this. I do hoop embroidery and wondered if it would cut circles to back the hoops?
