Is there anywhere that will take old cutlery?

After the best part of five years living together DH and I have finally ordered some proper adult cutlery. I have a drawer full of cutlery collected from various house shares and workplaces over the years to get rid of. Very little of it matches. Are there any charities that might want it? Or can it be recycled?

Charity shops - or scrap metal skip at the council recycling centres.

Is there a hostel or soup kitchen that might want it?

Or a school (I know we would!)

The Salvation Army are always happy to receive cutlery.

I'd take it. My kids throw away forks and spoons "by accident" so we have a drawer full of knives and bit much else !
Pop it on your local facebook group I bet someone would have it.
