Reusable coffee cup recommendations please!

I'd like to buy my brother a reusable mug for Christmas but there are so many styles out there!

Normal mug size, not massive. Not excessively heavy when empty. Ability to close the spout so could be put in a bag when empty.
I'm guessing they all leak if put in a bag when full?

I don’t know about leak proof but KeepCut brand I like.

Contigo are the best, as I have seen recommended on here. A smaller one is mug size. Leakproof and keeps drinks really hot.

For looks, can't beat a choose-your-own colours Keep Cup. But think of them as replacing the disposable cup you get from a coffee shop, ie not leakproof or insulated.

YY to Contigo, they are brilliant. Properly insulating and actually leak-proof, and mine have now survived two years of the dishwasher too.

My lid locks and has never leaked so I can just chuck it in my handbag. Stays hot for hours. I can make it at 6:30 and it’s still hot to drink at 11.

Another vote for Contigo here. Mine has survived being chucked anyway up in a bag , knocked off the desk by a clumsy patient more than once, and goes in the dishwasher (i didnt think it could but then read on here that they are fine)

Only ever buy contigo, best by far.
