Eating solo for the next two nights - what should I have?

I usually cook for 5 people every night and I've forgotten how to do this! DH is taking the DC to see his parents and I get to stay home (I KNOW!)

I need to go to the shops today as he's taking the car. What should I get? What did I used to eat when it was just me? Can't afford take-away unfortunately.

I've been getting messages of woe from DH all day today saying how hard it is on his own with the dc. Apparently the 2yo woke up at 4:50am and they are all still awake now.
