Have you seen Muriel's Wedding ?

LaLaFlottes · 24/10/2020 23:53

Rebecca is on Netflix at the moment - really enjoyed it

LaLaFlottes · 24/10/2020 23:54

Or Parasite if that’s available?

Magissa · 24/10/2020 23:58

I really liked Juliet Naked.

onlyfortonight · 24/10/2020 23:59

Just watched The Two Popes. Not an obvious title, but it was fantastic. Touching, humorous and very well acted.

LittleRa · 25/10/2020 00:02

On Netflix along the lines of those you’ve watched:
Julie and Julia
Sense and Sensibility

Mydogatemypurse · 25/10/2020 00:04

Rebecca

You're terrible, Muriel...

Another vote for Juliet, Naked. It made me laugh and it's a bit different to your usual RomCom.

musicalfrog · 25/10/2020 00:13

We just watched Bram Stoker's Dracula. Well, it's nearly Halloween!

CoronaIsShit · 25/10/2020 00:17

You could get started on The Haunting of Hill House then The Haunting of Bly Manor.

They’re both 9 episode series but really good and I’m not normally into spooky stuff.

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 25/10/2020 00:18

Crikey, were we all watching Juliet, Naked tonight? Grin I liked it too.

Heyahun · 25/10/2020 00:32

Also the kissing booth was good!

13 going on 30

Ghost

Safe haven

Legally blonde (not sure it’s on Netflix at the moment?)

Parenthood

Another vote for muriels wedding

WhistlersandJugglers · 25/10/2020 00:32

I liked the way Rose Byrne was wearing the same boots in several scenes in Juliet, Naked. It's silly but it made it a bit more believable. Sometimes the clothes and houses in American movies are just a bit too amazing.
