Hi everyone, I was put in touch with a single mother who moved into my local area. She has very young DCs and is a victim of domestic violence. She seems quite emotionally fragile (understandably). It seems she has the material things she needs for the DCs and she’s getting support from the appropriate council/social services and should have childcare for the kids in due course, but obviously it’s very hard to move to a completely new place and in such difficult circumstances.
With Covid restrictions, I feel like the in-person support I can offer is limited.
What can I do to help her and make life feel a bit better? Apart from cooked food which I will try to give to her when I can. Thanks in advance!
