Linen bedding. Any good?

I keep seeing linen bedding on instagram and like how it looks. Reading up people talk about how soft and snug it is. We always have proper cotton bedding that is around 300TC and when I look at linen it is much lower.

Has anybody made the switch? Is it really as soft as people say or will it feel rough and will I hate it?

My sister has some and it’s quite rough at first, but softens with wear and washing.

It’s not for me tbh- it might (eventually) feel nice but it never sits nicely and it looks like you’ve stuffed your duvet into a potato sack.

Potato sack! I must admit I haven't seen it in real life (apart from on display in H&M).
