In Wales so baking, lego, films and board games with the kids, coastal walks if the weather improves and ds has a photography competion.

WishUponAStar88 · 24/10/2020 08:27

Working a couple of days. Otherwise a bike ride and have booked 3 NT days. We’re tier 1 so may meet a friend at a pumpkin picking place. Halloween crafts/ baking. In reality probably too much TV a few days in after no doubt waking up at 5am every day post clock change Haloween Sad

burglarbettybaby · 24/10/2020 08:28

We are on lockdown and all activities are closed.
So I went to lidl last night and stocked up on stuff for baking.
Walks and netflix
I bought goodie bags with Halloween activities.
I'll do a bit of extra reading with them

It's all so restrictive at the moment

sanityisamyth · 24/10/2020 08:34

I'm in Wales. Nothing! We'll be indoors doing reading, cooking, Joe Wicks workouts, some Beavers badge activities and trying to make it through the week!

HelloDulling · 24/10/2020 08:42

In Wales, so not much. Weather forecast isn’t great either. Walks if we can, will get the DC to do some cooking and they both have assessments they need to revise for.

twobrews · 24/10/2020 08:48

Wales here too so wandering around local woods and parks will feature heavily.
Baking, films, online homework.
I've agreed we will put the Halloween decorations up early.
We were supposed to be on a big holiday so we're going to have a night themed around it instead.
For Halloween we'll have some games at home and hopefully go for a torch lit walk although I've heard there will be police patrolling so maybe not! Might just go round the block.

So sad for the children in Wales/Tiers 2 and 3.
We went to the circus last night (a live performance 🥰🥰🥰) and DD is going for a few nights at a theme park with her cousins early on in the week. Don’t have too much planned but we have a lot more options than most a the moment.

RosieLemonade · 24/10/2020 09:12

Oh going pumpkin picking today which will be fun and dinner at grandparents tomorrow.

DinosApple · 24/10/2020 09:31

We've got a trip to the tip booked, eye tests, baking, kids homework, packing to move and a trip to the seaside.

DH is also off all week too so I want him to take the DC out so I can get a good clean up done and have the uniforms ready (uniform cant be tumbled and a soggy week ahead Hmm)

This half term is more about getting ready for next, which will require a level of military planning we have never had to apply to our home lives before.

Titsywoo · 24/10/2020 09:40

Dd has her first set of gcse mocks after half term so lots of revising and school work for her. I'll be working 2 days but we're going to a posh restaurant with my parents on Monday for my birthday and hopefully meeting with friends one afternoon and going for a walk with MIL another day so enough to keep us busy. Mostly at home though so dd can revise.

InTheLongGrass · 24/10/2020 09:41

delilahbucket snap Sad
Currently we are:
Making the Xmas cake
Carving pumpkins
Craft has been requested, so I guess something Halloween
Baking
Football or some form of exercise every day - we might have to break out the Joe Wicks again
Films.

It's going to be a long week. I've already told isolating son that if he remains a well, I'm going to be taking his brother out of the house for an hour or 2 each day.

Viv0321 · 24/10/2020 09:42

Dinos. What do you mean with the military planning?

I'm in Wales, it's raining so heading back to bed while DD plays Minecraft I reckon.

Bluewavescrashing · 24/10/2020 09:43

Day at the zoo.
Friends coming for lunch (tier 1).
DD going to a play date, DS going to a mini halo ween party.
Pumpkin picking.
Sleeping.
Very tired teacher here.

flower11 · 24/10/2020 10:47

We are tier one
Going to toy shop today to spend birthday money
Pumpkin trail in grounds of local attraction
Dd wants to make ginger bread and we have craft to do.
Dd has training day with sports club one day.
On Halloween night we are going to watch a film and our area are doing the decorate your window for trail instead of trick or treat.
