What fun things can we do on the south coast?

Half term next week and me and DH have a rare week off together before arrival of our first DC in January.
Was hoping to spend some quality time together and maybe have a couple of nights away in a hotel somewhere.
Can anyone recommend fun things to do on the south coast? Although can’t imagine many ‘activities’ will be open due to Covid...
Any suggestions welcome, we are on the coast of West Sussex so happy to go a couple hrs in either direction.
Thanks in advance :)

Go pumpkin picking, seems to be lots of places doing it this year and very seasonal!

Sorry should have read your post properly! I thought you were looking for stuff to do with kids, although pumpkin picking is fun regardless!

Mudeford for crabbing, the ferry, kite flying and a walk along the coast. Kayaks for older kids. Also means you can go via the New Forest.

Guess you are going Selsey/Bognor/Wittering?

Gunwharf in Portsmouth has been advertising that they are open and Covid safe, it’s a good day out.

Going in the other direction. Brighton would also be a lovely day out if the weather is fine.

Lovely pub lunch at the Fox goes Free in Charlton then a walk up the trundle for amazing views over Chichester and surrounding areas.

Chichester town centre for shopping and a tour of the cathedral.

Arundel for a wander round the cathedral grounds, afternoon tea and cake in one of the many tea rooms.

The Boulevard in East Wittering for lunch and a walk along the sands at West Wittering.

The Italian restaurant in Emsworth is very good, sorry can’t remember the name of it.

Day trip to the Isle of Wight

The Weald and Downland open air museum just outside Chichester.

Petworth House and grounds.

I’ve just checked and the Fishbourne Roman palace is open at weekends

Hope you have a lovely weeks break.

I’d take the car on the ferry across to the Isle of Wight.
Dinosaur Isle, Godshill model village, the Needles chairlift, steam railway, reptilarium, monkey haven etc....
