I have my driving test in 3 weeks time, I am already having nightmares about it, can't fall asleep at night without thinking about it, any tips on how to stop this please? Also had a lesson today and felt like I wanted to cry as felt I was messing things up and my instructor was getting mad at me 🙈. Feel like a lost cause tonight lol x

If you don't feel ready then maybe look at rearranging the test for a later date so you can have some more lessons on the bits you feel the most wobbly on. I did this when I was due to take mine but didn't feel confident enough on roundabouts so deferred it til the following month and kept practicing. This helped me enormously as I felt a lot calmer and that I wouldn't mess it up.

As for the instructor getting cross with you, that's unacceptable. As a teacher, they should be able to teach without letting any frustration show as it is obvious that it will be counterproductive. So with my advice above, I would perhaps recommend a different instructor for any additional lessons so that you can polish those skills in a calmer environment.

For the test itself, I would advise to treat it the same as you would on a lesson. The examiner is just looking to make sure you can drive a car safely on the road without endangering yourself or others. They are looking for competence not perfection.
