I've had Myofascial release treatment while on holiday and the pain relief was amazing. I'd like to have it regularly back home but google doesn't seem to be of any help. Has anyone has this done in the north east. Happy to travel for someone amazing.

Thank you!

I've looked as well and not found anything. What was it like? I have a sports massage where she presses into the muscle to break up the adhesions.

Isn't I just sports massage, any physio or sports therapist can do it, you can even do it yourself using a roller or a tennis ball, depending on where the pain is.

@picklemewalnuts It was absolutely amazing. I have regular sports massage but this was really different. Barely felt like she was doing anything but afterwards my neck felt more mobile and less painful than it has in years.

Wow. Will definitely try and get one, one day!

Are you in the North East? I've actually been in touch with someone in Jesmond who does. Going to book in for an assessment in the next couple of weeks.

I’m really interested in this. Can I ask where you got it done on holiday?

picklemewalnuts · 24/10/2020 16:42

East Midlands.

@FeelinSpendy We went to Mountain Massage in Bowness. Hazel was absolutely amazing!
