Bedtime.

I have been reading a thread where some people wear silky night gowns to bed and a lot of people have said they find pyjamas uncomfortable which brings me to the question what do you wear to bed on a normal boring night to sleep?

I wear matching pyjamas (shorts and top) or pyjama trousers and a strappy top but now It looks like I'm in the minority when it thought i was completely normal HmmGrin

Knee length nightie and knickers.

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 21/10/2020 19:45

Depends. If I'm cold I'll wear mismatching PJ's. Sometimes just socks. Sometimes nude. I don't have any matching PJ's. Most of mine are old t-shirts or some covered in paint Smile I definitely don't have any silk PJ's though! I'd expect to slide out of bed wearing those ha.

I have a selection of knee or thigh length nighties. They're comfy, and have poppers getvthe front which were useful when breast feeding. I've recently bought some nice pyjamas . I'm embracing the comfy nightwear and got into my nighties at about 5pm today (got home soaking wet so changed)

Naked every bedtime. Unless its exceptionally cold when I may put some form of pj on. I use pj's more as 'inbetween clothes' - after getting out of bed but before getting dressed for the day

dementedpixie · 21/10/2020 19:53

Nothing for bed

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 21/10/2020 19:54

Primark leggings and a T-shirt

wishthiswasreallife · 21/10/2020 19:55

I'd love to sleep naked but I'm always worried there's some sort of emergency during the night and I have to run outside naked Grin

Either old T-shirt and undies or nothing, even in winter.

Thatwentbadly · 21/10/2020 19:58

Pjs bottoms if it’s cold. I’m breastfeeding so I don’t bother with a top. Mostly nothing.

wishthiswasreallife · 21/10/2020 20:00

On this subject do you like to be hot or cold?I have my windows wide open summer or winter but I like to be wrapped in the duvet whilst it's icy in the room!

Icy cold room but wrapped in a duvet!

passthemustard · 21/10/2020 20:08

Knickers and a vest or T-shirt. I don't really own nightwear. Nighties end up round my waist and pyjama trousers ride up round your knees. Don't see the point.

Suzi888 · 21/10/2020 20:11

Shower then knee length silk nightie, knickers. In a pitch black, cold room with electric blanket on.

sassafras123 · 21/10/2020 21:00

P.Js till halfway through the night then they come off. Damn menopause !

coastergirl · 21/10/2020 21:01

Pj top and knickers. I'm in pjs all evening but I developed an aversion to waistbands during my first pregnancy and have never slept in pj bottoms since. Can't sleep naked at all. I hate it!

TwinMum89 · 21/10/2020 21:07

I wear pjs, not always matching. Can’t sleep naked.

WhosThatGirl89 · 21/10/2020 21:14

Always naked. Hate sleeping with pj's, can't stand any riding up or movement of clothes during the night (I'm a fidgeter) also always want a cold room. Never have windows open as we're near a main road and it's too noisy

Mumtumwobble · 21/10/2020 21:14

I get cold when I sleep so I like PJs. If it’s summertime and warm I wear t-shirt and knickers. Hate sleeping naked.

BogRollBOGOF · 21/10/2020 21:15

Cotton pyjamas. Varying styles for season.

I generally hate nighties, they end up tangled around your waist and thighs rubbing together, although I do have a full length silk one which I got for my wedding and honeymoon which is lovely in hot weather.

Morgan12 · 21/10/2020 21:16

Just pants.

Also love a cold room and being nice and cozy under the duvet.

TroysMammy · 21/10/2020 21:17

Nothing. If I think it's cold and wear pj's in bed I wake up naked as I've taken them off in my sleep.

In case of emergencies I always have pj's and slippers on the floor by the bed.

Justmuddlingalong · 21/10/2020 21:20

Just a glistening of perimenopausal sweat.

Missh07 · 21/10/2020 21:20

To anyone that wears a full length nightie - does that mean you sleep in straight line? Can imagine it to be pretty annoying trying to maneuver if not!!

NiceGerbil · 21/10/2020 21:22

Wear what you fancy.

I switch between granny nightie and naked depending on how warm it is etc.

ComeOnBabyPopMyBubble · 21/10/2020 21:34

Tshirt and pants. I stopped buying pj's as it was a waste of money.
