Have you had a door fitted recently?

I want a basic UPVC door and frame fitted to my garage to replace a wooden door (personal door at the back, not the up and over). Nothing fancy. Quotes are higher than I expected - over £700.

If you've had a door fitted recently - any sort - how much was it?

£1385 for a composite front door and glass panel.

Your price sounds ok to me.

About 7 years ago and paid just over £1100.

Friend paid £800 for her front door to be replaced recently.

I paid around £1500 but managed to get it on credit from Anglian and i only pay about £20 a month.
