Ddad recently passed away and I found these old coins in his stuff. I'm curious if they are worth anything and he's been sitting on a fortune this whole time like Del boy Grin

They do not look particularly valuable, especially with the holes drilled through them. Victorian and I have some older ones which have no real value.

Unfortunately the big holes through them will have almost completely devalued them I think. Collectors want as near mint as possible to pay £££. Early Victorian by the looks, one probably for her as Empress of India by the writing on the back.

The 1838 one is only worth about £4 in 'very good' condition by the looks. Sorry OP!

I don’t know much at all but I thought I heard somewhere that coins with Victoria’s hair in a bun were worth more than others.
Helpful I know

The 1849 one is £2.05 in very good condition.

There's generally not a big market for coins unless they're Gold, even Roman coins you can pick up for pennies online. Silver coins from Victoria onwards, generally not worth any more than their scrap value in silver.

Ah well, it was nice to dream Grin I'll keep them for sentimental value, thanks everyone.

And sorry for your loss OP. Having them so you can think of your dad might be nicer in the long run. Thanks
