Anyone work for Sainsbury's?

I'm hoping someone can help me with the shift patterns.
There's a job at my local store for 3 night shifts (24hours)
First week shifts are non/tues/wed 1-9am but then the advert cuts off and I can't see what the other week/weeks will be. Can anyone help?
Also if a job is advertised as 24 hours over three nights is there any chance of asking for 16 hours over two nights?

I don't but presumably they've asked for 24 over 3 as that's what they need. Give it a go but given the environment I think there will be a lot of people that can give what they want.

I used to work for them as a student. Their recruitment process was absolutely ridiculous, two day workshops to work at the checkout and about 20 people applying for each available role. Things may have changed.

No harm in going for it and then saying you can only do 16 hours
Also you might pick up care home work easily atm

With the advert cutting off, do you mean there’s a tech error? If so, post the link here so we can see if it shows up properly on our devices. If not, no one here can really say what the other shifts may be.

With doing shifts over 2 days for 16 hours, the answer is likely to be “hell no”. You’re expected to be fully flexible working in retail and work outside of your shift patterns when necessary. The fact that you want to do less hours than advertised would suggest that you’re not a good match.

Yep- for the worse as there’s likely to be significantly more people applying for each role in the current climate.

I just started a local supermarket job. They advertised for 24 hours, I told them at interview 16 would suit better. I thought they might give me 2 weekend days but this is my first week and I have 2 short evening shifts and a Saturday. So still have a lazy day on Sunday 😁
