Anyone have any amusing stories they would like to share? Just to lift the spirits a bit!
I'll start with one of mine.
Years back when I was about 14 we had a very boisterous Golden Retriever puppy. He was destructive and clumsy but very loveable and would chew anything given the chance. A posh elderly aunt gave my mum a really hideously patterned tea cosy for her birthday, mum disliked it but accepted gratefully and stashed it in the kitchen somewhere. A few months later ,the same aunt came for a visit, sat in the living room and the dog was loose in the garden ,running past the patio doors and aunty sat watching him. He disappeared for a while and returned with tea cosy proudly hanging from his mouth and lay down to chew it right by the glass door as aunty looked on. My mum raced out the door to grab it off him and he turned it into a chasing game as all the material came off in shreds all over the lawn. My mum apologised profusely to her aunt. I remember it my sister and I were dying to laugh.
