Southwold

Still hoping to head to Southwold in half term for a couple of days. Any top suggestions for places doing good takeout fish and chips or other food? We are planning to walk dogs, eat nice food and chill....anything we should be sure to fit in?

There is an amazing ice cream shop in the town, such delicious ice creams in massive cones. On a corner, close to the sea front.

If it is running, go on the ferry to Walsberswick. And then back.

It is a large rowing boat.

We really like this fish and chip shop - we go to the one in the town near the Coop. There’s usually a queue but it’s worth it.

Hot chocolate from The Clockhouse
Two Magpies bakery for takeaway pizza if you’re there on Friday or Saturday night. Otherwise, it’s the best bakery in town and the perfect place to grab a light bite to take away.
Sail Loft is doing a take away menu and their fish and chips is legendary.
