I've been dithering for ages, and really need to make a decision.
I have reasonably thick carpet and underlay in the lounge at the moment, but I'm thinking of swapping to Karndean or similar. I'd love to hear of experiences.
I'm slightly concerned about sound absorption. There's some (not super loud) traffic noise from the road that runs along the side of the house, and I'm wondering how much of it the carpet absorbs and whether I'll notice a difference with vinyl.
But yep, and big pros and cons to going with vinyl? Anyone regretted it? I have a new granddaughter who'll be walking soon and who I'll be looking after some of the time.
