I hate October :-(

Sorry just feeling ranty.

Tomorrow would have been my mum's birthday and next week is the 6th anniversary of her death. So October is already pretty sucky.

My DH's grandmother got admitted to hospital on Friday and Sunday they have basically said they can only make her comfortable. she hasn't eaten on drunk since Sunday. They're letting DH visit this evening for an hour to say goodbye. Trying to be strong for DH but it's all bringing back a lot of feelings esp since she's in the same hospital my mum died in and to pretty much the same week.

On top of that currently trying to buy/sell property and its all very stressful. Was meant to complete on Thursday and haven't even exchanged yet. Trying to get quotes from wardrobe fitters/plumbers etc and clearly they don't need the work as they never get back to you - I had them in a week ago and still no contact and no quote.

Was meant to be having some tests done on Thursday and then an appointment with the doctor the week after for starting IVF which we had initially intended to start in Nov but looks like it'll be pushed back to January. Just want to get on with it and stop delaying everything all the time.

Everything is getting to me. Just want things to move along in my life. Stuck at home thanks to covid. My dad is very vulnerable so am v careful where i go and who i see so won't want to see him for two weeks after being at the hospital/funeral.

Just feeling altogether miserable. Want this bloody month/year to end.
