After using various creams etc DD 13 has just been prescribed them. Just wanted to know if anyone has experience of using them.

I am taking Lymecycline at the moment for acne. I'm 39 & have tried literally everything else & my skin is still very troublesome. It's definitely making a difference. No adverse side effects so far, it's been about 6 weeks.

Thanks for the reassurance I've got my fingers crossed they're going to work for DD.

The doctor i spoke to said that her children were on them for a while and eventually cut down on them so one every other day rather than every day and then only used them for flare ups

Yes I have taken them. More than once. Rubbish and made zero difference. Neither did the stuff that bleaches everything.

I went on roaccutane this year. Best thing I ever did and I have clear skin for the first time since my early teens!

DS is taking them, about 2.5 weeks in. i think they are working but he is still getting some whoppers. He uses an antibiotic cream at the same time like a two pronged attack.

He's taking Lymecycline
