Mine is this and I’ve just had one. You get a request and you can’t answer it. You say you need to refer to your senior colleague ‘Jane’ as you don’t have the authority to answer this. You pass on Jane’s reply and the recipient doesn’t like the answer and wants to discuss it with me rather than Jane. Err Ok then, not sure what you think little old me can do about it seeing as I told you the first time I had no authority 🤯🤯 I don’t suddenly have the power now. Plus I know full well that this woman has Jane’s email address but would rather I’m the go between. So annoying.
