Catty has left us and dd is heartbroken. I've found letters under her pillow begging catty to come home and saying that she is dds best friend

Does anyone have a Flying Tiger grey cat plush from about 4 years ago with a white tummy that they don't want anymore? Or know where I can find one? The ones in Tiger now aren't the same.

Thanks for replying. Yes I've tried ebay. There are similar ones there - harrods does something similar that her dad got her as a replacement but it's it's not the same.
This is our total last ditch attempt.
Never thought I'd be so upset over a stuffed toy!

It was just a cheap toy her sister got from Flying Tiger for her birthday. Not even good quality (don't get me wrong I'm a Tiger addict).
I've not found anything the same from anywhere else.

Where/how was Catty lost?

I'm sorry we don't have a Catty or you'd be welcome to it.

Catty was lost because mum is an idiot and allowed her out of the house.

So far we've tried every shop we went to, the cafe, the bus depot, train company, local swimming pool and the supermarket (it was a busy day!)
Tried ebay, old toy websites you name it.

It was a couple of months ago now and I thought she'd moved on and was over it but found a new letter saying how much she misses her.

Did it come in a bag?

Yes! A blue bag.
They did them again about a year ago but the toys were slightly different.

Is that picture recent?

It's online from google images but that narrows it down.

derek thank you for that idea. I'll give them a go. It sounds silly but I didn't want to bother them over something like this during lockdown as I figured they would have enough to worry about.

Friday that's a cute idea. If I find anymore letters I may end up doing that!

Can you post a picture of something similar? Difficult to see how big Catty is from those pictures.

Oh that is a shame they weren’t able to help, I remember this little cat from my time there. I do hope she turns up, I remember the sadness of a lost toy from when my daughter was little. Fingers crossed catty turns up/or her twin makes an appearance 😊 best of luck

Bumping again

So I have an update!
Thought this thread had died and then received a lovely pm asking how it has gone.

Meet Cattys sister from the same litter. She arrived maybe 2 weeks ago and Dd hasn't let go of her since. We found her on ebay and the lady who sold her sells old cuddly toys and will look out for catty 1 but I don't think it matters now.
I actually saw her heart healing when she held catty 2 for the first time.
Her eyes, whiskers, tummy and feet are the same (apparently this matters a lot) and she's as lazy and floppy as her sister.

Our family is complete again.

Thank you everyone for your help and kindness. The importance of lost cuddly toys should be taught in school and antenatal classes!
