9 month old DS won't stop whining today. Send help. And wine.

Usually he is a smiley ray of sunshine so I shouldn't complain but today he is refusing to nap after being up all night and now constantly whining and climbing all over me while grumbling and crying

I suspect top teeth or some kind of 'leap' or whatever they call it these days as he's on the cusp of crawling now and pulling himself up but by Christ I've had enough today already.

I've given in to YouTube and baby sensory which has bought me ten minutes for a cuppa (I let him have baby sensory and nursery rhymes on YouTube but only for 15 mins max) but he will lose interest soon and go back to whining

Tried toys, books, going for a walk, baby carrier, bouncer, switching rooms, bouncing on the bed, watching cars out of the window...each last about thirty seconds.

HELP.

I feel your pain.. hoping tomorrow you get a day of sleep. I have a stubborn cranky one too. Napped on school run and then awake, stayed awake on school pick up. Then in the car at 5pm and I only went out to take something back to get her to sleep. Hmmmm.

Emergency activities I can recommend for some peace 🤣 are banging pans with spoons, putting objects from one tub to another, going through peoples bags
