Help! What are you meant to do if you have a fever?

I’ve had stomach cramps and high fever all night. Nausea too. No cough or loss of taste. Can I send my kids to school, should I get a test?

No isolate and test

GreyishDays · 19/10/2020 07:51

Temperature is a criteria for a test. Get a test.

And do not go anywhere except to get a test, kids included

The household all have to isolate.

Temperature is one of the three. That's all you need. Everyone at home until your test results come back at least.

EerilyDeleted · 19/10/2020 07:52

Test and do not send the kids to school.

Isolate your household and get a test.
Get well soon.

If you have an 'obvious cause' for the fever non Covid (ie skin infection, UTI, ear infection) related I wouldn't isolate the household, get a test to be sure and assume you have a gastro bug.
However Covid can cause D&V so definitely get a test

Self isolate, including household, and get a test
