Currently with BT fibre. Looking to extend our internet reach to the garage and to get signal to outside security cameras, so through standard build outside wall. Any suggestions?

BT provide signal boosting discs. I'd call them

I was wondering whether to get them or an independent one

I have the discs. They're pretty good.

Thanks @hopeishere which ones do you have? I’ve seen an offer on the mini ones. Would the device connect to them if nearer and slower/not as powerful or still pick up the main hub? So need the expensive discs

I tried all the options from BT and found them cumbersome, unreliable and not user friendly.

Then I purchased TP-link Deco E4 whole home mesh from the internet site named after a very large South American river. Not cheap, but they have completely solved the issue. The signal now goes through our thick walls and out in the garden and a long way up it. It never drops out and is really reliable. A year later and I am still delighted.

Thanks, Internet in the house is fine everywhere, it’s just to get it through the wall to the outside camera and the garage.
