Looking for inspiration for my sons Christmas and early January birthday presents. So far on the list I have Lego. Lots of Lego... Star Wars/Avengers/Ninjargo Lego! Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Junior Monopoly (she demands I play that on average once a day), Sylvanian Families and a manky pink cuddly dog called Strawberry. I do actually recommend Junior Monopoly. I don't mind playing it, and it is over reasonably quickly.

Lego, trains, anything to do with construction and puzzle solving, books.

Thanks both! We have junior monopoly, but he’s not keen on that yet! Definitely lots of books.

No help here as it's all about the lego!

Dramateacher1 · 18/10/2020 14:29

ZippyLongstocking We could open a small shop with the amount we have 😂

Mario Lego and Magformers are firm favourites with my nearly 5 year old.

Mine is quite into Playmobil now. Getting him Lego mario for Xmas.

BillyAndTheSillies We love magna tykes here! Those and Lego are definitely favourites.
He’s never been bothered by playmobile and is no longer interested in the paw patrol and octonoughs stuff I spent a fortune on 2 Christmas’ ago! He’s got a bit of hog wheeled but not that bothered.
Might just have to keep Lego in business for a burger year!

Mine has outgrown PP. Never shown interest in Playmobil but we got a Pirate ship & island as a present & he loves it. I quite enjoy re-enacting Jaws! 😆

He’s definitely outgrown paw patrol but won’t let me get rid of it! Same with the play kitchen he hadn’t touched for months!

My 5 year old (and her older sister) don’t let us get rid of anything. I was about to get rid of the happyland, which is for 1-3 year olds and hadn’t been played with in ages, then she got it all out today and constructed an elaborate game.

A scooter was a favourite for both my dc age 5 - we had the micro scooter sprite.
